thinking about creating a website
I keep watching these scam artist on t.v. with their get out of debt scams and had a simple idea. what if I created a donation website to get myself out of debt. you can go on my site, listen to the straight up truth (you know, Hi im poor and want to get out of debt, please donate $.50) hell, if 30,000 people visit the site and donate 2 quarters, thats $15,000 dollars. Thats plenty to cure a lot of peoples singular debts. and then when I am debt free (dont be greedy) pass it on to someone else just to see if the process goes back around. I could call it the "save the fat guy fund" or something of that nature. might not be a bad idea to try

Might work. Then again, I pass a vagrant that works an intersection in town (ya know... one of the guys begging for money with the "I'll work for food" signs), except his sign said "I'll be honest... I just want the money for beer". I never saw anyone give him money. But I have seen several of these "beggars" leave at the end of the day and get in a new pickup and drive away... so begging must work. Let us know what happens, lol.

it was just a joke in all honestly, but I do remember when I lived in memphis the beggars on beale street. channel 5 did a big story because some of them where making $900 to $1000 a week begging, then going home to their 4 bedroom houses and no one was none the wiser, until it was on the news.

Did you hear about the student who set up a site selling pixels at $1 each to raise money for college? His site was a massive hit and he made $1million in 4 weeks!

Wow, That's funny. Just last week I was chatting with my boss about vegabonds and begging and he told me about the Sherlock Holmes story about some guy that was able to put his kids through college and live it up begging for a living.
Years ago I heard that some guy put in an ad stating "send $20 quick!!!" and had a P.O. Box, and people actually did it (I was told that he got away with it, because he made no claims in the ad). But this is just something that I heard.
Here in Hawaii, we just passed a recycling deposit law and some people are just going around picking up bottles and cans...hmm, I wonder what they make...
