No. The government never changes whether it's run by the R's or the D's. It always gets bigger, slower, less efficient, and more expensive. I am reminded of the line, often attributed to Will Rogers but actually penned by H.L. Mencken:
"Anyone who thinks we need more government deserves to get it good and hard!"
