You know what it means if your wife keeps coming out of the kitchen to bother you?
The chain is too long.
Q: How do you blind a woman?
A: Put a windshield in front of her.
Hey Guys!
I’m wondering if by chance we are starting to walk down the wrong path with the ‘Female’ Joke Posts!
Recently a question was asked about what could be posted at the Humor of the Day thread that I’d started;
http://straightrazorpalace.com/finer...humor-day.html
Id like to get something straight right off the bat..
I know dirty jokes wont be allowed, nor racist jokes (that kills about 9/10 of mine)
But how about blond jokes, or yo mama?
Here’s the reply from Otto/MODERATOR:
If you are in doubt if it goes, don't post it. The rule of thumb is; Would you let your child or grandchild read it?
This is a family rated forum, and we've had to take down "humor threads" before.
For those that know me and know me well they know that I am really hard to offend! While I'm sure that the majority of members won't be offended by these post and find them quite humorous, please try to remember that we also have members of the fairer sex who might not!
As the originator of this thread I agree with cudarunner and otto. Also, quips are by nature, very short, almost like a Haiku, but more understandable.
Longer become jokes and need a thread of it's own. Thanks.
Sitting with two colleagues discussing whether or not to send emails in Japanese to the Japanese employees in the company, the other two say:
"I always send in English, they understand well enough, and if not they use google translate..."
I reply by saying:
"Okay, well... I think I am going to just write both English and Japanese in the same email, just because I can."
FYI I am a translator and interpreter by trade, the remark I made was made without thinking, but sounded extremely pompous.
Quip of the day:
"just because I can."
Arrogance is knowing ahead of time the poor effect of a comment upon the audience, and making it anyway!

Happened this morning:
"Hey baby, did you sleep well?"
"Yes, until I woke up..."
