Bill Nye the Dancing Guy
Never been interested in Dancing With The Stars until last night!
I thought the judges were really rude, the first two anyway. The criticism wasn't even constructive, it was just plain mean.
Did anyone else catch this last night? If you missed it, here it is.
What do you guys think?

I was going to watch it, but I decided to get my tires rotated instead.

I'm interested to see if he does swing dancing on there. He does that as a hobby, I've seen him out dancing before in DC.

Thanked: 3228I think the judges were correct. It was entertaining but they lost it for not having enough of the technical aspects of the dance in there. The critiques leave no doubts as to where they have to improve and that is constructive.

I could understand the judges being harsh later on in the competition, but in week one it seems rather unnecessary...to me anyway.
I mean, the man is 58 years old so I'm not sure if that has something to do with his performance in doing such a face paced dance.
If he prefers swing dancing as mentioned above, it stands to reason that he would excel more in that area.
I certainly hope that he improves (who doesn't like Bill Nye), but either way I think that the fans (50% of the vote) will keep him as long as possible.
BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL!

Len - "It was like being waxed, it was painful while it happened and lovely when it was over"
Bruno - "Professor, professor, this formula is not going to get you the Nobel prize"
Both Len and Bruno were a bit unnecessarily rude in my opinion, although Len was ruder if you ask me...at least Bruno offered some actual advice after his comment. Carrie Ann offered the most constructive criticism with good advice on where to improve etc.
It will be interesting to see where it goes!

Didn't even notice Bill Nye. My attention was focused on his partner.
Oh lordy. Makes my liver quiver!
