No it actually wasn't too messy, well it was if you consider my arm, I could see tendons and stuff, the doctor said that my slightly fat arm might have saved me from a.worse injury.
To be honest with you I am grateful that it hit me, my daughter was wandering around in the garden and was standing really quite close when the blade came off, if it hadn't been stopped by my arm there is a good chance it would have hit her in the head or face.

When you put it like that, I'm glad it hit you too!

I don't much care whether I am old or not, I often struggle to remember how old I am. I just observed that I am getting noisier as time moves along.

When I was a teenager and looked a guys my age with a wife/kid/mortgage/job and I thought "that's a grown up". Now I am that age with all those things and I realise I didn't grow up, I just got older.
I still feel like the same big kid I was back then. That make sense?

    ?

100%. I'm the biggest kid I know. Just that some of my abilities have acquired disabilities these days.

Seriously. Poor old Mickmeister. In keeping with this thread I would give up his two left testicles to be 43.

If a lefty from "down under" travels north of the equator, does he become right handed?

    Permission to come aboard?

And +1 on the lefty Kamisori. Can anyone tell us if the left handed one is better than the right? From the pictures I've seen the right handed one looks more appropriate for us, but maybe I'm missing something.

Sorry, I have been a bit remiss, you are welcome on board provided that you are a lefty, or a righty who is willing to get the offending hand amputated
Unfortunately I cannot help you one jot on the kamisori. You will just have to commission a pair and compare them
