Thanked: 1587I wonder at why some of us feel guilty about these things. I'm the same - even though my wife had never said anything, I felt guilty about my first post-initial razor purchase. Probably because I originally convinced her that I needed a straight to "save money" compared to the Gillettes.
What I do now is use "equity", and I'm guilt free. Every six weeks my wife goes to the hair salon. It costs her around 150AUD to 180AUD each time. So every 6 weeks I'm allowed to spend $150 on whatever I want (I usually don't, but I can if I want...[whipcracking sound effect] Yes Dear...). No arguments allowed (cough, cough...)

No one here has mentioned that most of our RAD means we might spend $60 - $250 on a razor, but IWANs RAD of Maestro Livi means he is spending like $800, I would imagine any uniformed wife/gf etc would go ballistic at those prices!
P.S., I like Rich's method

I honestly don't get.
I've been married almost 8 years. I see a razor I want, I consider whether I can afford it and if I can I slap the money down no questions asked. I make the money, I pay the bills. What concern is it of my wife as long as there is food on the table, clothes on our back, and all the money matters taken care of?
Now, after saying all that, I think I have an idea for you guys!! Before your next razor purchase buy your significant other a gift basket from Coleen!!! I just got one for my wives birthday and she absolutely loves it!!!!!
THANK YOU COLEEN!!!

I'm not in a serious relationship, so I'm trying to collect all the razors that I want before I do.

Hey bruno,
Your right. my wife works very hard. She chases after 3 children all day.
You should reread my post though. I never said it was just my money.
I also said that all the money matters must be taken care of first.
I dont bother about my wives toiletries or how many shoes she owns!!

I just had the funniest thought. Perhaps all of our shipping should be done to eachother under "code names" to avoid getting caught.
