Merry Christmas from the Ice Storm
No power in the house, trees down in backyard, power out going on day four! No cable, internet or cell phone.
Merry Christmas from my wifi connection in the hotel we're staying at!
Mainly, I just wanted to let you all know the razors are all safe.
Talk to you all in a few days!!

Thanks!!
It's really bad down here, some poor man, about 60 years old, died in his apartment from carbon monoxide poisening...it's - 20 right now so they've got some heating centres opening.
I suspected this might be ad and reserved a room ahead of time.
Certainly an Xmas to remember...just hope we don't hear about anymore tragic accidents...sheesh, don't bring your charcoal BBQ into your apartment and light it up...

Thanked: 1185Hang in there and stay warm pal. Sad what people do without thinking in hard times.
Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.

Be well Phrank! We have been fortunate to not have an ice storm here in WI. CO poisoning has happened often and I got a mild dose of it also.
takes a while to recover.
Check furnaces and exhausts from them and other fire using equipment like dryers and water Heaters.

Thanked: 1936We got a ice storm about 2-3 weeks ago. Took some folks in the more remote rural areas 10 days for power to return & the linemen worked nonstop & had a LOT of help from other power companies. I lost about half of my trees and just hope the other half will recover, especially my big old pecan...which took a beating.
