Watched a re run documentary from 1971 about a very popular kiwi who had recently passed away. The one thing that stood out, not one piece of plastic could be seen anywhere.
Put out the rubbish bag on Tuesday, at least 90 percent plastic. Can't help but wonder about the consequences for the future of our children..

It is sad the amount of plastics use, only to be thrown away.
But consumerism and lazyness,is much more strong than environmentalism.

47 years ago, the population was smaller, and I know when I was young, there was nowhere near the packaging there is now

I have a family member that makes stuff up to get more back. Its going to biye them in the ass some day.

Sitting here reminiscing after munching my granddaughters discarded meal.
Back in the day, my darling wife and I would make sure the kids were fed first. Having 6 of them, there was always enough leftovers for everyone. They never went hungry.
It's funny how hard times often equate to good memories...
