Not since I got a job that quite often requires the filling of a cup w/urine specimen. But ever since the baby arrived and my sleep disappeared, I have been on the verge of having natural sound induced halucinations.

I was just thinking of my earliest memory of my mother. She was a smoker and I was nursing, looking up at her the way babies do I guess. Anyway, I saw her take a big drag on the Marlboro and the tip was bright red...for a time, that was all I could see, the red tip of the cigarette. Then she put it out on my forehead, kind of ground it out. I was pretty sure mothers were not supposed to do this so I screamed as loud as I could. We never really got along and I've often wondered if that event was the beginning of the end.
