Vaporizer Suggestions

My wife has recently been prescribed cannabis by her doctor. As she's never been a smoker she's finding inhalation difficult. She also has concerns about potentially harmful smoke by products. To help her I'm on the hunt for the most effective, efficient and safe delivery system. I've done some reading on vaporizers and think this could be a good way to go. I'd like to ask my fellow forum members who have current or previous experience with this type of apparatus to give me their frank recommendations. Which one they have found to be the most effective and easiest to operate. Also is their another method we should consider? Unfortunately ingest-able forms are not an option. Any constructive input is much appreciated.

Why are ingestible forms not an option? I've known folks who take the leaves and bake them into cookies.

Severe nausea is the main reason. Also lag time can be an issue. Need a relatively fast delivery method.

Than she needs to learn how to smoke it, get her pipe,take short tokes,is she on chemo?

I have had several fiends in a similar situation and this is the better alternative for those who do not smoke. As I understand it the desired effects are a little slower but are a welcome relief just the same.

Although SRP has a huge user base (No pun intended)

We are not really the right group of experts

Glen, Thanks for your response. In this situation I'm asking almost everyone I know for their input. You just never know who knows what and where. One piece of information on the link you attached has actually lead me to further research "Cannabis Tincture" as a possible solution. I've never heard of this before so thanks for your help. It's exactly the kind of result I was hoping for.
