Great post Carl. I look forward to the day I can call my son (he is 3 & 1/2) a friend, until then I will be his father just like you've been to your son. If your son is half the gentleman that you are then he is leaps and bounds ahead of the late teenagers I have to deal with. Job well done Sir.
Why doesn't the taco truck drive around the neighborhood selling tacos & margaritas???

I live in KS... it's a competition to see who leaves. Those of us who stay have all joined "The Begrudging Residents Group," we meet Wednesdays at 8.

I hate it when those I don't like move as I am riddled with jealousy. Those I love, I take to the airport, hug, and genuinely wish them the best as I perhaps shed a tear.

Were one of those people to become my kid - as you are, I'll be glad because if anything, I want my kids to live on their terms, but I'll bawl like a baby when I get back to the car.

P.S. My wife says she would be waving bye to me too - as she would be on the plane with kid lol.

One third of his adventure has passed... How you holding up Carl??

Has he asked you to wire money yet? I am guessing a great deal of how you feel will rest on that question lol!

Thanks for asking. I'm holding up OK. However, I'm really missing him at the moment, and he's missing us too. He's in France at the moment, here's a pic...

Stranger, if you passing meet me and desire to speak to me, why should you not speak to me? And why should I not speak to you?
