I am also the recipient of some questionable looks when I mention the forum. And she also likes to mention it to everyone we know. Not that I'm embarrassed but it's clear she thinks it's pretty goofy.

There sure is a lot of human nature to be found on any forum. This reminds me of some advice my mother gave me when I was two days old. She said, "a little courtesy goes a long way on any day". To borrow another quote, "have fun".

Stuck at home with two sick kids who don't think they are sick... sigh!

SWMBO is long gone, divorce one the positive events in my life, so when I say something about the forum to my cat, she looks at me, yawns and goes back to napping.

I am thinking that the forum is fostering among the faithful something equivalent to a hive mind. Single thoughts shared by instinct by all the other minds. When there is disturbance in the force, I liken it to a wasp invading, all the drones and the queen take action and isolate and evict the wasp.

Somehow that and 'have fun' don't seem to go together.
