While I can't out of general principle support any team whose home city does not normally get snowed on, I was very sad to see Anaheim bow out last night. Partly because of a long-standing irrational dislike of the Kings, but mostly because it marks the end of an era.
Thank you Teemu. It has been a hell of a lot of fun watching you. From your rookie season with my hometown team through to the end, you have been an absolute class act and will be missed.
It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

I'm kind of glad I missed it in my post-FA Cup Final delirium...
From a Habs fan point of view:
The good news: it is bound to get better.
The bad news: Price may be badly hurt in which case the Habs are pretty much screwed.
The other good news: when someone goes flying into your goalie full speed and blades-first, you've got to be relieved the result isn't a literal bloodbath à la Malarchuk. Not saying it was at all intentional (looked like he just lost his balance), but YIKES! That could have been very, very bad.

The real bad news may be that there is a western conference. We'll have to see.
