Thanked: 0I agree Alonso is an excellent driver.
Having said that I think Raikkonen and McLaren lost the 2005 season due to their lack of reliability, and last year luck was on Renaults side and not Ferrari's.
We'll see who the next best driver is, you might be right about Alonso, but now that Schumi is gone I feel that Massa may take over.

You forgot to add the option 'who cares'
Til shade is gone, til water is gone, Into the shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath.
To spit in Sightblinder’s eye on the Last Day

So, after Melbourne, the constructors standings are:
1 McLaren-Mercedes..........14
2 Ferrari...........................13
3 BMW..............................5
4 Renault...........................4
5 Williams-Toyota................2
6 Toyota............................1
7 Honda.............................0
7 Super Aguri-Honda.............0
7 Red Bull-Renault................0
7 STR-Ferrari......................0
7 Spyker-Ferrari..................0
and it looks like Kuala-Lampur on April 8th.
Question: How do they transport the vehicles between continents? Fly them (which would be horrendously expensive, it seems) or ship them on boats, (which seems like it woud be really slow, and these guys seem like they're...well, in a real hurry)?.....just curious.

They fly them Lou, and that just adds to the overall expense of a typical F1 year.

Thanked: 0The amount of money put into the sport is a little ridiculous, I believe Toyota already sunk in over several billion dollars in their team since they joined in 2001.
But hey over 105 thousand were there on Sunday alone.
The whole sport is BIG $$$$ and people are watching.
As an aside: Honda's Earth Car... A little ironic??
