While I hate to disagree with you, I think there is plenty of reason to be suspicious. While the govt often appears to be inept, one thing govt does very well is lord over the individual. Govt doesn't need to get healthcare right in order to screw mine up. While OUR govt wasn't taking and holding areas of cities, the Jews have seen it happen to them. On the other hand our govt was rounding up Japanese Americans and holding them captive while the German govt was rounding up Jews. All that's needed is the wrong leadership and a state of emergency. I can't think of anything that is responsible for more deaths than govt.

Here in LA, when a nut job was shooting up the airport, all the TSA people ran away, so they could not even find out where the shooter was for several minutes.

The”official” report says the emergency equipment was not operating properly, because they all ran away. Some dude called in the alarm from a cell phone.
It was local cops that took him down.

What does TSA stand for?

I bet it was law enforcement that handled it correctly... NOT the TSA. TSA would just screw it up, and Take Stuff Away.

This is funny as that it is the second time today I have seen it. Not sure about here, but on the other site it is law enforcement people I know and serious gun owners that seem to have the biggest problem with it. After looking in to it a little(I lost interest in it) I could find nothing that pointed toward something to worry about. I own guns and wish to protect myself and my right to carry, so I did take it seriously at first. I must point out that I do know my law enforcement acquaintances quite well, and they do care fully automatic weapons, and they do worry me.

THEY SCREWED IT UP!

There isn't enough Government to do anything but spend money and control thought patterns. The rest is controlled by bankers and they have out done themselves to the point of no return. You have to remember too that a lot of these people that get these kind of guns for their jobs are just citizens when they go home. I think starting tomorrow there is going to be a bigger story to watch unfold. It may be a fizzle out but then again D.C. may be faced with the biggest problem it ever had at home. Of course you have to consider the source when you read this :<0)

You & I am more alike in our ideals & dislike of current State affairs than you realize. I just see a light at the end of this dark tunnel, we are currently in. I have worked in the enforcement side of our government all my adult life. I have a pretty good understanding of what it would take to return America back to the dark times of internment & concentration camps. Approx. 15 years ago, I put some questions on the table for my young brother to answer.At the time, he was a Gunnery Sergeant of a front line combat unit that was trained & equipted for such tasks that would be necessary to intern or respond to urban conflicts. He was on his "4th" tour in Iraq, doing these exact operations. I asked him what would happen if his unit was given the order to use force inside the United States. He stated that over half of his men would not follow that command and the few that might, could not get the job done. He retired last year as a Sgt. Major; the feelings of the young men & women under him had not changed.

Don't let my expression of confidence, be confused with naivety & empty hope.

I have learned in my life that many problems that our country faces, are conceived in misinformation, rumor and the inherently human trait of ignorance.

The wrong leadership, you say?? This country's leadership has sucked (the only word that really describes it) for the last 25 years. We are just starting to wake up to it.
But,,,,
The ship is still afloat & we will replace the current captain with another one soon.
We have to keep our heads up & row toward that light at the end of this tunnel.

What other choice do we have?
