Baseball in Cooperstown.
My nephew is in a baseball tournament in NY state. I've never been there neither has he. Its in Cooperstown. His name is Nolan from Roseville CA. He's throwing out the opening ball! He plays shortstop and catcher. He likes fishing more than baseball. My brother, mom, and dad are back there rooting him on. I must say he is one hell of a baseball player. Hes throwing out the first pitch to represent us all. Hes not a bad pitcher I must say. Iv never been to NY or Cooperstown but we hope he does good. My dad is a hard charging welder and hes back there watching. They (dad and mom) actually FLEW there..lol. Nolans number is #38. Hes had that number since he was in little league. Hes 12 now.
Ive never been to new york and neither has he. Its a huge step in his life. Its gonna be on TV but im trying to find out what channel. Hes the youngest player there. He told me that being on tv means nothing. He just wants to get back to Roseville and work on his hobbies.(fishing)

Congrats, uncle. Cooperstown is just plain beautiful. Lucky is the kid who gets to play at Doubleday Field - he'll remember it the rest of his life.

I frequently find myself in cooperstown, it is about a half hour away from me. Games played in doubleday are often good; which is a complement from me as I think a live baseball game can only be enjoyed with a designated driver and footmen to carry my palanquin chair, lest I fall in my drunken stupor.
the kid has good sense to like fishing over baseball
enjoy,
