Our family eats red meat maybe once a month. Chicken and fish more often. To me it's not so much about the cruelty to animals but the impact that raising, feeding, processing and transporting lamb and beef has on our environment.

Any wild animal raised by humans is likely to have a short life and meet an untimely end in the wild. Even animals that don't have the disadvantage of human tutelage often fail to reach maturity because nature doesn't play favorites and doesn't forgive mistakes and virtually every living thing eats other living things in order to survive, so life and death is all just part of the daily routine.Quote:
