Posting Habits
When do you post the most you figure?
Do you log in once a day and randomly post etc., etc.?
I have discovered that for me, I post most often when I have something to do that I would rather not be doing ie. writing a report or cutting the grass lol!
How about you? Have you descovered a pattern in your posting?David

To quote Gertrude Stein (and paraphrase), "A post is a post is a post".
As my son's bookkeeper I start that session by checking in here, on SRP. That allows me to get side tracked and avoid the drudgery of data entry till it becomes the elephant in the room and I can no longer avoid it.
I propose a new addiction connected to SRP, that of posting = PAD. I checked in the other day, just to see what was going on, at about 8:30 AM. When I looked up to check the time I found that I had almost missed lunch.
I have decided that I have AAD = Addictive addiction Disorder.
Signing off till next time (wait five minutes and see)."The sharpening stones from time to time provide officers with gasoline."

What can I say, it's been five minutes and I'm back to see what has unfolded.

I am logged on throughout the day, but post more in the evenings. At work I mainly look at SOTD and hit the "like" button because I am using my phone to access the internet. At home I have access to a laptop and IPad which making reading and typing easier.

I definitely post the most during the weekends.
Work and kids seem to take quite some time during the week.
My wife is very much a A person, so I tend to go online every night after she has gone to bed.
I'm beyond B myself
Besides, all you guys tend to be online from about 11PM my time, so in order to be a part of this community, I'd better stay awake during the nights!Bjoernar
Um, all of them, any of them that have been in front of me over all these years....

It's a little different for the staff I imagine because we check in more often. I usually am on in the morning and then again in the late afternoon and then do a quick check late at night. That's during the week. On weekends I usually am on mid afternoon and then do a quick check late at night.

I'm kind of sporadic. Posting at work when my brain needs to look at something other than blueprints and specification books. At home when I have a min between wrestling two boys and tasks around the house. But if I post anytime after midnight our Eastern Time, please ignore what I say... Unless its inspiring then I'll take full credit for it. Otherwise it's Hyde speaking for me when I'm way too tired.

Just every now and then. Sometimes years go by. I enjoy reading posts mainly from Gents that are on SRP exclusively. I have learned so very much by mainly reading but also by adding to the conversation. An Occasional SOTD post by me as well as I enjoy that aspect as I do the Razor Clubs. A wonderful distraction for me since really 2007..my start date says 2008 but I lost my info on my first incarnation.
