Thanked: 44Just be glad you don't live in England, 20 cigs already cost upwards of $13 and 1oz of tobacco $25 and that isn't even premium tobbaco just run of the mill stuff

I just wonder how many folks are just taking their word for it without reading the actual new regulations.

I haven't lit a cigarette, pipe or cigar since 1978, but it was important to me to make my voice heard. It's easy for us to sit back and ignore the situation if it's not our Ox being gored, but I've watched too many of our rights disappear over the years .. and I'm not happy about it!
This, by Neimöller, seems appropriate, and we had all better wake up to it ..
First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out--
Because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out--
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out--
Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me--and there was no one left to speak for me.

Thanked: 177Its a joke. I dont smoke but used to. These are peoples right to use a legal product. And then again they want to make marijuana legal and synthetic heroin is already. And on one hand they are saying get rid of the mandatory jail guidelines for dealing and on the other they are increasing police resources to combat drug dealing. If people want to use tobacco, let em. In NYC a pack of cigs is like $12. But everybody is at the reservation buying. And discriminating based on price only is ridiculous as is proposed.
