Thread: The wait

Now I know we all need to have patience and I know that I have all the patience I was born with because my wife tells me that I've never used any of it but waiting is the punishment we get when we order or win a bid on eBay and wait for delivery. This last win was suppose to be with me today but now it looks like Thursday or Friday. A whole weed. I'll die from anticipation. Trying not to shave until it gets here is even worse. I keep reaching up to my face dreaming of the moment it gets here. My wife tells me I need to see a shrink but I tell her I really need to see the postman with that beautiful little box. Am I really warped or is this normal. I leave it up to you for a man must be judged by his peers.

That adds at least two weeks more to the dreaded waiting-game

Totally get where you're coming from...can't wait for my George Brittain Iron Cross straight razor I literally stumbled on this last Saturday...that one I put down to an basically never finding...then there it is, I hit the BIN button first...and now the wait!!! I wouldn't let myself even start to "believe" until I saw it shipped...now it just has to get here.

I hear ya-Waiting on a couple of items now. I've been wearing Ebay and Paypal out this summer. I've got to go back to work before I go bankrupt!

I vote normal and a 1 week wait PFFF suck it up LOL
usually 3 to 6 weeks to get to Aus unless its already in here then it might be a week if we are lucky
when you start thinking it is lost in the mail or customs has claimed it the posty shows with your package like a surprise LOL
