If you haven't picked up on the various drifts on the forum somewhere along the line another member dubbed me Pope Razorfeld of the Church of the Steel Edge. In my official capacity I have raised to various levels of Cardinal, Archbishop, Deacon and Prelate various members for their contribution to the field. Complete the 330 days and I will, with pleasure, raise you to Cardinal of the Consummate Honing.

Oh great and BBS Pope Razorfeld I, with great humility, do henceforth accept the call of the church to seek the the ultimate in edge making from hence to July 4th 2015.

All jokes aside this hobby has gotten me through all of my legal woes so far and I will continue using it as a for o therapy.

    Thanks brother!

As Pixel mentioned and others...this too shall pass...and it sounds like you've got a good head on you shoulders about it as well, that parts up to you.

Aside from learning the stones...you plan on getting into any razor restorations? From rusty, dirty old, blade with ruined or no scales to finished blade, scales and all?

Yea I'm just glad it's not a worse punishment.

I am going to do a few restorations I'm sure. I have one coming from the bay this week that should get rolling by Monday. And I have a few others that I honed up and use but need to get to restoring.

But then I'm outta blades. No income and a weekly bill for the ankle VCR.

Yes, would be great to have another thread watching a step by step restore...definitely let us know what you get in from eBay.

Its a Frederick Reynolds Spanish point. Terrible pictures but looks to be at least 7/8 possibly larger. Theres a chip right at the toe that looks substantial but reparable for sure.

Yeah, 1 black anklet is better than a matching pair of bracelets and a stay at the Greybar Hotel. Look for a You Tube "How to get it off without doing 20."
Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.
