I am saddened by this loss. I can think of no harder life than that of a comedian. It will be a long time before another of his ilk will surface.

I'm very shocked by this, he put such warmth and authenticity into his work and made millions laugh and feel better about themselves, their lives, even for that two hours.
It's such a shame that there wasn't someone or something that could have done the same for him.
Depression and mental illness is such a crippling disease, and it's claimed another...so tragic, and so sad.
I hope he finally found the peace he couldn't find here...

There is a very large part of me that's mad that he would do that to his family.
Truly - I hope I never understand the depths of depression that he and millions of others must endure to seek... the ultimate solution.
