Useless info? Some would conider this whole forum useless info. You're the Keeper of the Spice of Life -- a little trivia here, a little humour (damn Aussies got me adding extra u's) there --- it's the side roads that make life worth living -- as long as you don't get lost. But what do I know? (but a hell of a lot of useless info)

No matter what you're interested in, chances are there's an obscure internet forum dedicated solely to your hobby.
Take straight razors, for instance -- who'd have thought?
Do a search for your car's make and model and I'll bet there's a forum where fanatics who modify and race them post. They'll tell you all you need to know.
I do all my own work on my vehicles. With every vehicle I've owned the first thing I do is go down to the local parts dealer and buy either a Chilton's or Hayne's manual.
I actually like the Hayne's manuals best. they are based on a complete tear down of the car!!
And for you computer geeks out there, this means no greasy keyboard keys!!

Thanks Mark (there's Avery Island -- home of Tabasco sauce in Louisiana --- just to let you know)
I own the Haynes manual for the car --- really everything I need but I like having other references to help get a more general understanding -----if I ever need to overhaul an engine on a desert island ,
