Hate your Job?

I can't say I have hated a job since I was very young. Then I learned it is better to move on or make it fun. I had my own business for 25 years and I miss that but, it also came with a lot of hours most couldn't/wouldn't handle well. That all went south. Not off shore but in court. I work for Home Depot right now and have made my own position there and try to keep everything around me upbeat and make people smile. A stand up salesman :<0) I didn't think I would ever be able to work for the public again but like I said you have to make it fun or move on. Employees ask me if I am having fun because I look like it. I tell em " I ain't here to get rich". I feel for you if you hate your job. Might as well be breaking rocks along side the road.

So true! One thing I learned a long time ago, only the names and faces change...the BS remains the same.

Am gettiing old.would do anything to have a job,any job.

The only job I hate is one I can't leave. I hated bartending.

Pix, my friend, be careful what you wish for. I grew up in a grocery store and vowed never to be back in that business again. Years later, tough times, moved cross country to be near my kids, history bit me in the ass, managed convenience stores for 12 years and took early retirement to get away from it. Look inside yourself, you might find the job solution waiting to surface.

Razorfeld my friend.. If it wasn't for grocers nobody would know where to buy food. Look you said... Look inside. Thats hard work. You have to be tireless.

Hi im Colin and some days I hate my job, but most days I find it fulfilling. Today was one of the good days.

We were open seven days a week, 6AM to midnight. No employees. My father, my mother and my middle brother and I from age 5 to high school graduation after school till 8pm, then homework and to bed. Hard work, yes it was. But it drained a lot out of us. Regret it, no, but I don't extoll it either. It paid for my education, can't fault it for that but it took a toll on the family. My first several years working for other people and businesses I was at loose ends at the end of an eight hour day. Had to learn to relax and enjoy my 'down time'.
