I had -- and still do -- considered buying a Kindle DX. Why? Because of the paper-white screen and 9.7" (diagonal) screen size. Of course, Amazon discontinued that model, and a 6- or 7-inch screen is simply unacceptable. Sure, I can increase the size of the on-screen typeface, but I cannot increase the page width, so sentences become truncated and interrupts the flow of words and reading. Intolerable. It's bad enough that paperback book publishers have moved to the narrower-and-taller format, but on a "device" the combination is a "show-stopper"... for moi, anyway.
You can have everything, and still not have enough.
I'd give it all up, for just a little more.
