Thanked: 884Went through that twice so far this year. :/
I've got a flip phone, my computer is a 32bit XPpro, and P4 powered old thing, and I shave with a straight razor.
I do have a mini-streamlight on my key chain.. Not too worried about it ratting me out and stealing my location etc...

Μολον Δαβε = 'Come and take' ........ if anyone was curious.
The phrase was reportedly the defiant response of King Leonidas I of Sparta to Xerxes I of Persia when Xerxes demanded that the Greeks lay down their arms and surrender. This was at the onset of the Battle of Thermopylae (480 BC). Instead, the Greeks held Thermopylae for three days. Although the Greek contingent was defeated, they inflicted serious damage on the Persian army. Most importantly, this delayed the Persians' progress to Athens, providing sufficient time for the city's evacuation to the island of Salamis. Though a tactical defeat, Thermopylae served as a strategic and moral victory, inspiring the Greek forces to crush the Persians at the Battle of Salamis later the same year and the Battle of Plataea one year later.

One of the projects I worked on several years ago, a near field communications protocol, we had lots of problems with that, but people want to pay for stuff with their smart phones...it's been rolled out pretty extensively these days, it's not on my phone though, no way...similar to JimmyHAD, I got a call the other day, someone tried to buy a $1,400 Go-Pro camera from somewhere in the States, I now have a new card on the way as well...people have no idea how easily their stuff can be compromised.

I'm glad to be a semi-Luddite. I have a cell phone my kids got me, a simple one. It is for emergencies only. Haven't had any so the phone hasn't cost a dime since I got it. One son runs his own IT business. This computer he got me has more safeguards on it than a Medieval virgin with a chastity belt.

If you want to beat these hackers, then you gotta be smarter than they are, you gotta stay one step ahead of them.
Hack Proof Flashlight App.
Both the flashlight & smartphone work together as a team. Both units use the same power cord to charge & the flashlight doubles as a spare battey for the phone. There may come a time when you have to talk on the smartphone as you search for something you lost, therefore the flashlight can be detached from the smartphone easily.
The App. consists of a flashlight & attaching bracket. Sales are not allowed on the open forum, but PM me I can contact the manufacturer for you. I hear the App. retails for $150.00 plus shipping.
