Guess we all have to keep our eyes open.

Thank you and yes, we all have to be a little wary. There have been incidents in nearly every western country that is operating against ISIS. They do mean business with their threats. All the more reason not to let up on them at home or abroad.

Maybe now the treehuggers will realize that singing kumbahyah does not make you bullet proof, and there are worse things than having a standing army and nukes on Belgian soil.

Yes, due to the nature of humans and the states they create having a military and committing to war is a necessary evil. Definitely a last resort when all else has failed though not to be easily and eagerly embraced.

Sgt at arms Kevin Vickers leading the parade to the Commons, receives a standing ovation...he's the person who shot dead the gunman yesterday.

A very poignant editorial cartoon published today regarding Cpl. Nathan Cirillo, who was shot and killed while standing guard at the memorial and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier on Wednesday morning.

This brought a tear to my eye.

Vickers did what needed doing with the stoic resolve most of us aspire to have in times of crisis.
His face, and his emotions that reflected just under the surface, during his ovation today in Parliament brought me to tears almost.
And the homage at the Pitt penguin game last night from our awesome neighbors south of the falls,,
Proud day today after a horrible mess and tragedy for the Cirillo family yesterday.
    God bless.
