Not much doubt in my mind that Putin has his finger in the pie somewhere. He aids Syria and likes his Naval Base there at Tartus. Seems ISIS is not too fond of the Syrian regime either though.

The trouble is the bigger picture these Muslim fundamentalist are spread widely throughout the UK Europe and America, we have already had bus a train bombings in the UK and it won't be long before they start beheading UK European and American citizens in their own land, I don't think their elders or their religious leaders do enough to take on the problem you barely hear their voices, personally I'm quite shocked how the vast majority Christian population haven't been more pro active talk about an eye for an eye far to tolerant if you ask me.

We have already had a beheading by a convert to to their ways, it was an innocent mother & another tried to chop the head of of a policeman with a hatchet. It's already in the U.S.
Don't let the silence of the Christians fool you into thinking we are unprepared,,,, crap/violence like this is nothing new to us,,,,

Apprehending the criminals and trying them in court is the proper way to deal with this in our own countries. The "eye for an eye" nonsense only leads to ever increasing retributions from both sides. I would hope that we have risen above those tribal antics as they do nothing but result in ever widening and never ending bloodshed.

Is it possible that the 'vast majority Christian population' takes the words of Christ on this specific matter seriously?

Matthew 5:38-42 New International Version (NIV)

38 “You have heard that it was said, ‘Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth.’[a] 39 But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also. 40 And if anyone wants to sue you and take your shirt, hand over your coat as well. 41 If anyone forces you to go one mile, go with them two miles. 42 Give to the one who asks you, and do not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from you.
