Public Recognition of our Passion
Sat down this morning with my coffee and PB & jam on homemade bread and started the Sunday crossword (a crossword puzzle a day keeps the foggies away). Three fourths down the puzzle the clue was Magazine for Razor Sharpeners. Because I was so intrigued with wanting the answer I violated my cardinal rule of no peeking at the answers (old in body but still the kid when faced with a wrapped package).
The answer (and if I had been even the least patient I would have figured it out {yes, I really would have}):
Strops Illustrated"The sharpening stones from time to time provide officers with gasoline."

Thanked: 1184You would have never got that. We were discussing that puzzle at the Straight Razor Mansion right after breakfast :<0)
Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.
