Default First Day of 2015/What did you do?

Well my first day of 2015 started about 3 days ago when I started prepping for the day long snacks for my son, his girlfriend, my youngest daughter and my two grandkids from her to have while here.

I work full time and often am pretty beat when I come home so after a barley pop or so while checking email and then responding I'd work on the snacks.

Here's what was on the menu for today:

Homemade Meat Balls in Homemade BBQ sauce
Homemade Meat Balls In Homemade Spaghetti sauce
    Buffalo Wings
    Deviled Eggs
    Crab Dip
    Spinach Dip
    Tortilla Chips
    Salsa
    Ritz Crackers
    Saltine Crackers
    Broccoli Pieces
    Cauliflower Pieces
    Ranch Dip
    Cheddar Cheese Cubes
    Baby Dill Pickles
    Baby Carrots
    Black Olives
    Red Grapes
    Bananas
    Satsuma Oranges
    Granny Smith Apple Slices
    Braeburn Apple Slices
    Caramel Dip

Here's a quick couple of shots during 'half time' as the kids wanted to play some board games.

There wasn't much left at the end of the day.

Started the evening before hand with a feast of bacon and fried chicken and chocolate. Went upstairs, took a 40 minute soak in a salt bath, and went on to a nice hot towel faceprep in the tub before a 3 razor shave. Got dressed in my Grinch footy PJs, spritzed some Armani Code (cause I'm stylin now) and went down to the TV room and watched cartoons into the New Year.
Today though, starts oatmeal, high fiber, fish oil pills, lots of fruits and veggies, and the bidding of a fond farewell to my chocolate covered bacon as I attempt to get my 312 cholesterol under some sort of control.
Lets see how long THAT lasts!

I started 2015 at 430am (I can never sleep in) Drank a pot of coffee, and started cleaning the house. The wife spent all day making dinner for my hole family. The last of them just left the house. 19 ppl make a big mess. My day 2 of 2015 will start just like the first day, coffee and cleaning.

    Happy New Year Everyone

It's a variable speed, has different dia front wheels ranging from 2"-4" and takes belts from 30" dia to 42" dia up to 2" in width. It's intent is improved side polishing and give a better ability to get off the edge while still working the spine.
My cloth backed paper runs from 400-2000 k grit and I made a couple of leather belts for it as well. Will advise how it works as I have a few old blades saved to try on it. This is built for resto's, not for honing. Well maybe honing my lathe tools, but not razors.
    Cheers.
