    Glad it's all good in your hood now Carl.
    We live at the top of a gully & had fire run up to us from the opposite side in the 70's.
    Came to within 50 metres or so of the battleaxe house behind ours.
    Ironically there are a few hundred houses built into the same gulley now.
    The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.

    Have read about the serious Fires in Aus, we have had the same in my state,some are arson, most are lightning strikes.
    What is the main cause of Fires is Aus.? are they range land fires or forest fires?

    I suppose you'd call them forest fires. There have been a number of arson related fires but fire was always a 'thing' here.
