    I suppose you'd call them forest fires. There have been a number of arson related fires but fire was always a 'thing' here.

    Interesting read,thx for the link,I was thinking about fires in Euc forests,that stuff is almost explosive due to the oil content.
    In my state they started planting eucs to use as railrod ties 125 yrs ago,the grew like weeds.
    Now they are trying to eradicate them do to the extreame fire hazards in urban areas.
    Makes for some fantastic stovewood when dry tho

    It does indeed. Have split some tons of it when I lived in the mountains.
