Oil Prices, Good News, For Awile Anyway
How low can oil prices go? Welcome to the oil market’s old normal - The Washington Post
Best pump price I ever got was 19 cents per gallon back in maybe it was '65 ? Getting it for $2.19 yesterday and feeling like it was a good deal shows how much a buck is worth nowadays.Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

I saw a Toyota Prius owner openly weeping at the pumps the other day...he had been ruthlessly taunted by all the SUV owners filling up for cheap....

Good thing when fueling up, yes, but ordering stuff from the US at the current exchange rate (about 1.20, mostly driven up by the oil price drop) is becoming more prohibitive every day...

I think I paid $2.49 per gallon midgrade the other day. I have a Toyota Tundra. It's nice being able to put a little over 3/4 of a tank in without reaching the
$75 limit on a debit/credit card transaction. Nice break...for now!

I paid $2.09 for mid octane on Saturday. With a gas tank of only 8 gallons bone dry, the Spit never hurts much to fill!

Thanked: 3227I recall 35 to 40 cents an Imperial gallon back in the very late 1960s for gas here. That just stuns my Nephew especially when you explain how much volume an Imperial gallon has compared to a liter. Mind you the wages were a lot less back then also.
