Question What's your Thread Subscription number?

I was recently taken back when I saw just how many thread to which I was subscribed(and I thought I was being diligent about removing resolved/old ones):

    Subscriptions (620 Threads)

I just can't bring myself to Unsubscribe all. This should be interesting.

Well, I guess I can add this one to the list, but out of curiosity where can I find that information? I looked at my user profile and clicked on "Subscriptions" but it doesn't give me a total.

Under My Subscriptions, click on Subscriptions. You'll see a "Subscriptions" drop down button above the list of your subscribed threads. Click the dropdown and you'll see "Subscribed (xxx Threads)"

Including this one 1128. I need a clean out, a lot of those will be beginners threads.

    Another way to see is:
quick links (right hand side of top tool bar)
subscribed threads (second drop down option)

However I dint think the voting options are a terribly good spread. I just exceed the 1000 mark, but am nowhere near 10,000

Another couple of not really interesting but a way to pass the time sorts of things to do are:
go to community in the top tool bar
    click on members list
click on posts, this will organise the membership by descending post count. You can see just how prolific you really are.

    Go to your profile
look at posts per day (it's just an average based on total posts over length of membership). In the early days mine was in the 20's now it's less than 10 I think.

I have 149. I have been subscribing to threads I thought were important as a resource since I started on this forum. Gone back in numerous times to refresh my memory. I could probably safely delete half of what I have in there ........... I mean out of my subscribed threads .......... not delete as a moderator .......

Currently around 45. Keeping it clean. Can always do a search if needed for an old thread. Out of sight, out of mind until needed.

Don't be ridiculous Jimmy. I thought you knew me. To be fair there probably are quite a few threads that as a mod you could safely delete....

Holli - i seem to get subscribed as soon as I post to a thread.

Also I have worked out why I don't clean em out too often, you have to do one page at a time, ie select all the threads you don't want on a page of subscribed threads, delete them and then do the next page.
