    Default A change in direction

I just went through my razors and have come to the conclusion that I had rather work on them and hone them as to collect them. Now I don't want to do this for a living but really do enjoy it. I know I don't have the elaborate collection that a lot of you have but still for me not a bad collection. Mostly Sheffield's a few German and a few made here in the USA. I've got a blade coming in the mail and I'm really looking forward to getting it and trying to make it nice. I enjoy shaving with these that I've acquired don't get me wrong but at my age and they are all shave ready (except the last 4) so add in the fact I only shave once or twice a week that they would probably last me the rest of my life with out having to re-hone. I wonder just how many more of my kind are out there. I've seen several razors on the bay that have been reconditioned and they look nice. also I've seen several on this site that looked great. After reading a lot of the post here I know there must be a lot of us. At any rate I believe that I have progressed from the very beginning and thanks to all here am still learning and enjoying this fun hobby.

So to all you Senior (even though your probably younger than me) and Mentors and all members thanks I do enjoy the SRP

I enjoy restoring and honing razors not so much for myself these days I may add as I have a steady stream from forum members and users, and I only have 7 razors at this present time just waiting on one more custom to come in and that's me done I'm happy with that number not even looking to add another to be honest, but I wouldn't turn my nose up at one of Pixelfixed big Palmera in Ivory.:-)

I'm not ready to sell down to just a few yet but I do like working on them. When I do go out of this world I want people to look down in the casket and say MAN HE LOOKS DEAD. USED UP. I don't want them to say don't he look good.
