How would you like your body to be disposed?
Just read another thread that was talking about death, so I thought I'd ask if you guys have thought about what would you like to happen to your body after you die.
And also why? I imagine there are the usual reasons - religion, tradition, romanticism/idealism, ease, environment, but there have to be more.
As far as me I'm a fair bit under the average life expectancy, so I haven't really considered it or made any arrangements, but I pretty much don't care. I suppose my family will burry me in a pine coffin since that's the norm in my culture and I'm perfectly fine feeding the worms and insects and the rest becoming fertilizer for plants. Circle of life and all that sounds quite sensible. Or just leaving me to the vultures and wildlife would have the same effect, though I'm not sure if that's legal.
I wouldn't care if I get sliced into pieces by medical students either, but I suppose for that to happen I may have to actively request it.

Thanked: 1185Feed me to the bears :<0) At that point I am gone, might as well do some good.
Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.

There's movie about a guy who ended that way (along with his girlfriend) - the bear didn't fare too well
It's a really good movie, though (especially if you're partial the euro-sensibilities of the director like I am).

Always told SWMBO just have me cremated, open the window and let me fly out. No need to have a place where family can come and see my soul holder.
