Hope all is well given the Tropical Cyclone that you may be dealing with. Living in part of the US "Hurricane Alley" I have a first hand understanding of what some of you may be dealing with. Thanks for your thoughts, Harold.
I live in the Brisbane area and it hasn't arrived here yet, although it is likely to be less than a Cat 1 by the time it gets here according to the Weather Bureau.
Still lots of rain though.Hang on and enjoy the ride...

Thanked: 1587We were on Hamilton island on holiday last week, left the island the day before the cyclone hit, so we were lucky. We holed up in hervey bay with the in-laws and are still here now.
Thinking of driving back to the sunshine coast tomorrow if the roads are safe, see what damage our house sustained. Most likely there'll be nothing wrong, just a lot of water hanging around I'd say.
