    This sounds disgusting, but what actually helps me is to belch. Normally my hic-ups come from an air bubble stuck between my stomach and throat

    Take the person to the zoo and throw him in the lion's compound. I guarantee the hiccups will cease. Just make sure he can run fast, very fast.

    I asked to see if anyone came close to the cure I finally discovered recently. Don't get hiccups too often anymore, but when I do they are murderous. Discovered that sipping a glass of warm water, after three sips, they go away. I think the warm water relaxes the throat muscles and stops the hiccups.

    A big spoon of peanut butter makes you swallow or at least try to swallow many times.

    Indigestion medicine, Quikeze, Mylanta, any of them cures hiccups instantly

    Works every time and tastes good. I don't know the medical terms but I think it works your tongue on the upper back part of your mouth.
