Great spoof on the Windows/Mac commercials. I like the female addition. Gives it quality!

I love the idea of an open source operating system. But when I go to a beginner's guide to Linux and read this:
To learn Linux, you need to learn the shell command line in a terminal emulator.
In KDE: K -> System -> Konsoll to get a command shell)
Pressing CTRL-ALT-F1 to CTRL-ALT-F6 gives you the console command shell windows, while CTRL-ALT-F7 gives you XFree86 (the graphical interface).
xterm (manual page) is the standard XFree console installed on all boxes, run it with xterm (press ALT F2 in KDE and Gnome to run commands)...
I just feel overwhelmed. Plus, it's taken me a long time to find the DSP plugins I need to play music the way I like it from the various Windows-based players. I wouldn't want to give that up unless I knew for sure I could get into something of equivalent or better sound.
