Glad your mostly okay Pixel. Just saw this and hope your doing a lot better by now. I tried some of those meds recently for tooth pain, and they almost worked.
I just spent 4 weeks going up and down a 40" ladder. Only got dizzy on the ground :<0) Did manage to get tripped up in the air line on the way down once. I pushed off and landed on my feet. I always plan my falls before they happen but if you black out not much you can do.
This is me 10 years ago setting safety anchors for the crew. We had to bust that rock up so an earthquake wouldn't bring it down into the new housing track below. Took a day for 5 guys to haul 1,000 ft. of air line and 250 pounds of equipment (3 pieces) up the slope. May not look so bad but the face below this baby was sheared rock, nice and flat for about 150 ft'. Not totally vertical but you couldn't walk it. The plan was not to fall at all.

I have a small fear of heights but after I am up there awhile I get used to it. Same with under ground but it is much cooler working down there.
