Thanked: 2027Stay off of ladders:(
If your over 60,Fell off a ladder a few weeks back, landed in my wifes Mini Cooper ( close to grand worth of damage to the car).
Fractured My coccyx,my right elbow and my lower spine,I cannot even walk, living on some nasty drugs these days
Talked to a doc friend of mine,He said it is a proven fact that as we age we get subtle changes in the arterys that feed the brainbox.
Vertibral arterys the most,(noting can really be done about it)
Thats what happend to me,I looked up and passed out.
No more ladders for me,when I get better well train the wife to do that stuffCAUTION

Hope you make a full recovery. My grandfather had a fall off a ladder a couple years ago and fractured his skull, scary stuff.

Good luck with your recovery. Next time, give the neighbour kid a $20.00, and save yourself some grief.

Take it easy, and you'll be on your feet in no time. Remember, while your recuperating, to stretch your arms and move your limbs as much as you can, o their extreme limits. This will stave off atrophy to your movement. Try to do shave if your unable to shave. This will ensure muscle memory and limberness.

Thanked: 4206Sorry for your pain, and the damage to the mini. Cars are easier to fix than we are as we age for sure.
Had no idea looking up could affect vertigo and such as we age. Thanks for sharing, and hope you recover well sir.
The good news is pain meds have become very good at making the pain go away, if only for a while. Just don't overdo it while doped up..
Stay away from the razors too..
