Sorry to hear that Tom. You can't catch a break, except you'll get to see how your new drainage plan works.
Meanwhile, as I turn in it's 89 here at almost midnight and dry as a bone here less than 1/2 mile from the Atlantic. I'll get my wind and rain later in the summer.Just call me Harold

Ha! I hope it does not get so bad as that. A few weeks ago, we had 11 inches within a few hours. I know you have some sketchy weather out there. Having what you need is important. I have what I need, if it don't blow (or float) away!
Good move. I always stay put. The alternative is much worse, IMO."Don't be stubborn. You are missing out."
I rest my case.

Thanked: 1936It's hammering us up here in OK now too..internet is in and out. Fortunately most all our lakes were down a few feet and not running over the dams...but who knows how much this thing is gonna dump. Louisiana better be getting prepared...

It seemed to go around me on the west and curve back east. Folks down on the coast had a rough go. I just had some rain, nothing heavy. Boy, it is a long system. Lots of rain in some parts. It does not seem to be weakening much.
Half the country will get some of it, I think."Don't be stubborn. You are missing out."
I rest my case.

It's rained here in central Okla. since about 10am. The main core of Bill moved in about 1:30pm and went stationary. It's churned out rain non-stop for the last 9 hours and there's no end in sight. It's exactly in the same place!!
I sure wish Bill would go visit Bill in California. I know they really need it, like we.....did!
We were over 23" with the last floods, a few weeks ago. Have to be getting close to 30" and that's in the last 90 days. High ground is a blessing!!
