Default Been away for a while

Seems like forever since I've been here. Well, not that long, but a while. Work has been crazy since they have cut back on our work force. Our manager retired and hasn't been replaced, the assistant manager has been in and out sick, which leaves myself, one other tech, and one part time tech to run the sales counter and do the work in the back shop, 10 hours a day, six days a week. Then the higher ups complain about overtime. Then my wife's older brother passed away after an extended illness complicated by the effects of Agent Orange, yes he was a Vietnam vet. The family was able to get her back home before he passed, so they got to say their goodbys. They laid him to rest yesterday, RIP Jim.

But, what do you do? We suck it up and continue forward looking for the day we can retire. So anyway, I'm back and looking forward to some nice educational conversations away from the stresses of everyday life. Now to get my Torrey off to Glen for new scales.

    Have a great day everyone.

Welcome back. I've been in job situations like that and know that it really helps to take time out in a wholly different setting. Vacation may not be possible but twisting your mind around some of the concepts here can surely help. Do not forget the wife...they can make or break you!

Welcome back, we're always here when you need us.
Why doesn't the taco truck drive around the neighborhood selling tacos & margaritas???
