Hey Steve ---I live about 1hr from the Louisiana/Texas border along I-10. It's kind of the ending of cajun country and the beginning of cowboy/western/redneck country. I pronounce wash "warsh" and gasoline "gazoline" --- people (not me) wear cowboy boots and hats ---- hell you'd fit better here then I do ---- so if you ever feel an undefinable pull to the southland , don't resist,.

Mozart might have something to say about that.

For anyone old enough to remember Woodstock..................a little bit of musical history, and I'm very honoured to say that I work with this guy, and is one of my fellow workmates. Just watching this clip has bought back a huge amount of old musical memories, and to think that this guy Chip was there with them all. Even to this very day Chip is very creative and some would say perhaps on some other planet, but the guy is a genius and such an un assuming type of fellow, very mellow and chilled out.

And another war related song Billy Joel "Goodnight Saigon" make sure you watch the montage with this clip right to the end, always very moving stuff.

And finally another from the exact opposite end of the spectrum Michael Buble's "Home" for all those people away from thier loved ones for what ever reason, and all they want to do is get home...........

This is one of those songs that I like to hear now and again ----it always stirs something inside me, makes me check myself, and invariably makes me a wee bit emotional.
