    Fascinating. Thank you. The two photos that spoke the most to me, and showed the passage of time, were the ones of Theodore Roosevelt at 17 and then as an adult. I've looked at photos of me as a teen and then looked in the mirror and wondered at the fact that I could barely see the teen that I was in the 82 year old face staring back at me.

    Yeah, I know. Trouble is he pops out often at the wrong time. I don't think, for my age, that I am alone in this happening. It's that event that gave birth to the phrase "dirty old man".

    Interesting pics however I'm one who thinks photos like these belong in the past. Some high tech computer algorithm to produce colorized versions and you really don't know how true to life these things are.
