Yeah, that's pretty much what I expected in my sink too. I never was so aware of the pulsating going on in my neck as the first time I put that blade to my neck.

I had my first SR for three weeks before I could muster the courage to use it. The biggest problem was figuring out how to get my big ham fists out of the way so I could see what I was doing. It took me several weeks to get halfway comfortable with hand positioning... No major cuts, but a weeper or two. The Alum block is a good teacher.
