I rob banks.
As long as you keep moving around they'll never catch you.
But if you try it and get caught don't tell em I said to do it.No matter how many men you kill you can't kill your successor-Emperor Nero

I've been a grocery store clerk (raised in one), a stock boy, a salesman, a University administrator (Director of University Graphics), a convenience store manager (thanks to my upbringing), and always an artist, first in oils and now in fabrics. So I guess I've never really retired despite taking an early SS retirement.

I put on some dirty shabby clothes along with a shaggy wig make myself look as pitiful as possible and stand on a street corner holding a hand written note on a piece of old cardboard that says:
Will work for
straight razor money.
You won't believe how much I make! I have a sneaky suspicion that people are hoping that I'll slit my throat with one so I don't come back!
Actually I just retired after 40 years in the grocery business. I've been everything from a stock boy, a cashier, a produce and a meat cutter. I've never really acquired any of the 'ADs' but have slowly purchased what I wanted. I don't have anything really fancy as I pretty much go for function over 'Bling'.
OH! Personally, I think that collecting razors, strops, hones etc is a 'Hobby'. Using and maintaining a straight razor for regular use is a 'Way of Life'Last edited by cudarunner; 01-13-2016 at 02:39 AM.
Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdins cave of 'stuff'.
