Thanked: 3795Powerball
Well, after buying the third PowerBall ticket of my life, I regret to say that I just discovered that I will in fact have to go back to work tomorrow.

Had the same thought. Oh well back to making money the old fashioned way.

Thanked: 38I've bought 2 tickets in my life. Didn't hit a single number on either of them. I was tempted yesterday to buy a ticket... I relaxed, held my breath, and listened deep inside for that lucky feeling... Didn't feel it, so I didn't buy. I heard, I think on NPR, a comment from a mathematician: the odds of winning are like picking a marked poker chip from a stack of chips ~613 miles high.

Over the last three drawings I spent 24 on tickets, first of my life. Total numbers matched=0.

First time played was Saturday and didn't know what I was doing. Handed the lady $20 and on her advice got 5 numbers and won $24 on two of them. So I figured I would "Let it ride" for yesterday...
When I went to the store the cashier said I could get more numbers and still be able to win the big one. I was thinking why didn't I do that before, more chances, so I got 12 numbers and Lo and behold I hit nada...
So goes my Lottery career, maybe if it hits a billion I will play again...."When defeat comes, accept it as a signal that your plans are not sound,
rebuild those plans, and set sail once more toward your coveted goal."

Thanked: 228I guess I should have listened to my financial planner. She said it was not a proper retirement plan!

I thought about buying a ticket...but then decided that I like my life the way it is so I am not going to even bother wasting my money!
All that money would be nice but I think it would bring a lot a baggage with it...

Thanked: 3795Yeah baggage would be awful. I just would have bought my family's farm, and maybe an island...

You would have to, because anyone you ever had contact with would suddenly be your best friend and have a need or can't miss investment opportunities!

It is reported a pro skateboarder in Kali was one of the winners.
