Glenn Frey RIP
Bummer. I used to buy Eagles 8 tracks two at a time. Could not get along without it if one got eaten by the monster.
Awesome band for an awesome time. In reading, sounds like he was a good man who suffered greatly.
A great talent. I feel olllld.Last edited by sharptonn; 01-19-2016 at 02:48 AM.

Very sad news indeed. RIP Glenn. You and your brothers took everything musical to a whole new universal plane and may it echo for eternity.

Still among my favorites to go see live, can't believe it's happening so much these days to all the guys. Lived a lifetime listening to. Tc

So true what all have said...a great musician, who formed a great band, and made great music for many of our great times...now released from pain that few knew about. Peace, Glenn!

OK! Eagles story. Stood a half-day in line with a bunch of hungover stoners (Hey! It was then!) and scored 4 tickets to the Eagles in old Jeppeson Stadium. Funny how the beers and such kept coming up the line!
So excited to go. Had buddies and gals clamoring to go.......
Turned 17 a week later. Got drunk and jailed. There went the tickets. Had to reimburse my mom for the fine.
Sadly, no more Eagles tickets nor jail in my future!
My buds who I sold the tickets to (with dates) had an epic time.
Great show! Missed it!Last edited by sharptonn; 01-19-2016 at 01:34 AM.
