I should not have looked at this right before bed!!!...!
I was born in '86 (during a blizzard, according to my mom). Thankfully, the only PTSD~esq flashbacks of 70's fashion will be from this linked article... that I couldn't make it beyond #17 or so.
On a tangent: how about that 80's music?!?! I mean, by they time I was remotely able to comprehend music, that decade was already over!
Oh god... I just remembered one of two advertisements my dad modeled in (or is this memory of seeing a yearbook photo of him?... that's how little this wants to be a memory). Anyway. He was wearing the typical shorts of the day for basketball or something. I still don't know how men weren't showing more, how do I put this... front (lower) cleavage than women?!!Decades away from full-beard growing abilities.

Well I have to admit that I wore a couple of these outfits back in the day. Not sure what I was thinking.
Keep your concentration high and your angles low!
Despite the high cost of living, it's still very popular.

That caused an ugly flashback. I did enjoy the mini-skirt and short-shorts fashion era that preceded this one though.
These clothes are from the:
Greg: Hi groovy chicks. I've been to a far out happening. Can you dig it?
Jan: Marsha, Marsha, Marsha.
years.

Thanked: 3795Even when the 70's were going on, I remember thinking that most of the styles were stupid. Now that did not stop my mom from keeping me in "fashion" by getting me disco shirts and flares and bell bottoms. The problem with wearing flares and bell bottoms to school is that eventually they become clothes for wearing around the farm.
What you really don't want to wear in a barnyard are flares and bell bottoms.
